Visited second look academy models day for fillers on my lips, marionette, smile lines and smokers lines. The service I received was outstanding and so professional. The students were so thorough with the treatments given and explained each step as the treatments were done. I have recently completed the foundation and advanced dermal filler course and had the most amazing time. From start to finish I was made to feel welcomed and comfortable by Jess and also James who didn’t stop making me laugh over the 2 days and looked after us amazingly. I have trained at second look and would recommend to anyone wanting to do aesthetics, I did the pathway to aesthetics course after searching forever to find the right place to train as I felt courses were way to fast and learning everything in a week (which I don’t believe you can do) or to go to uni and do it the nursing way which I didn’t want to do nursing and was a very long route to take and never found anything in between until here! The training is outstanding and jess’s work and training is just second to none! (Jess’s signature lips is also what swayed me as they are amazing) . All the trainers are amazing, I had Julie as a tutor for anatomy and she is the best, so kind and amazing at what she does! (We all passed first time which shows just how incredible she is) and so are the other trainers, there knowledge and care for what they do shows when there training you, incredibly supportive! I used to have a phobia of needles years ago and having my bloods taken and how they managed to train me phlebotomy and the support and guidance I had on the training day is above and beyond and now I love taking blood! I will definitely be doing further courses at second look and I met friends for life along the way so if your looking for somewhere I highly recommend this place!★★★★★

Having recently graduated from the Second Look Aesthetics Academy, I can confidently say how impressed I am and how highly I recommend both Jess as a leader and mentor and Second Look as an excellent training facility. Second Look Aesthetics is a beautifully presented, modern clinic which is clearly maintained to a very high standard. Since beginning the ‘Pathway to Aesthetics’ Course in 2021, I have consistently felt supported, able to ask for reliable advice about the industry and been provided with regular and constructive feedback from all modules and assignments which has helped me considerably to become more confident and enabled me to make progress in all areas of the course. Throughout the course and Anatomy and Pathology modules, I was supported by Julie, a fantastic Tutor, who was extremely knowledgeable and able to offer guidance and prompt feedback. Because of this, I felt confident studying for my exams and was able to pass these the first time, along with every student on the course - a testament to excellent mentorship. Additionally, Jess organised a range of highly skilled medical professionals to lead four of our training experiences, providing us with the opportunity to work alongside a Nurse, First Aider, Aesthetics Practitioner and a Doctor which subsequently, enabled us all to complete and pass our Phlebotomy, Foundation Dermal Filler, Advanced Dermal Filler, Platelet Rich Plasma, Hyaluronidase and Foundation and Advanced Botulinum Toxin (Botox) training. Since graduating from the Second Look Academy, I have successfully created my own Aesthetics business and I am now excited to further my professional development by completing Advanced Canula Training.
